The legendary ASICS GEL-Cumulus gets an update to make it softer and more plush. ASICS added FF Blast foam to the midsole that gives it a soft, responsive ride. Plus, designers increased the stack height of the foam to give you a more comfortable run. ASICS’ signature rearfoot and forefoot gel technology provides impact absorption and a softer feeling at the forefoot.

ASICS use their gender-specific 3D Space Construction, which compresses differently to address the biological differences between men’s and women’s feet. They also continued their trend of decreasing the heel-to-toe drop from previous models to provide full ground contact for a smoother and more efficient run.

The new outsole of the GEL-Cumulus 24 is made of ASICS Lite and contains flex grooves to give you some flexibility at push off. This is a stronger and more durable material than standard outsoles. The jacquard mesh upper wraps around your foot for a comfortable fit. The new mesh is more breathable to prevent your feet from sweating when you are bringing the heat during your run. It also stays true to ASICS sustainability measures and is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The tongue and heel are both padded to provide the ultimate in comfort and the tongue is semi-gusseted, so it stays in place throughout the run.

Although it is known as one of the best running shoes for beginners, the ASICS GEL-Cumulus 24 is a workhorse of a shoe for anyone who is running or walking.
